Who knew?

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Hurry mom, it's cold out here.

Who knew that January (the most coldest and usually longest month of the year) could be so much fun? Since the new year we have had so much fun going to all of our family events. Last weekend we were able to go to Kurt's Grandma's birthday party in Malad and this week we traveled down to St. George to go to my brother's wedding. We also went with my parents when they were set apart as missionaries for their mission to Bulgaria. Oh I guess I can't forget we have also had lots of fun going to Kurt's city league and church basketball games, go DADDY!!!

Sadie wanted to sing for Spencer's & Carey's luncheon so I had to get it on tape.

Extreme Makeover

Thank you Emily for this wonderful and very thoughtful Christmas present. I LOVE my new hair cut and will always go to Shep.

Before

After

It looks better in person. I wish I would have done this forever ago. Thanks again Emily!!!

Other highlights of this past week:
  • We finally got rid of the orange couch, thank you Jessica for throwing up all over it last night.
  • Sadie got her first piece of jewelry from a boy, what are we going to do?!?
  • Eighty Daisies ( Baby Boutique) agreed to sell my "Tag" blankets on their website, I'll update everyone as soon as this happens.
  • American Idol season 7 started.

Since my last blog, I've taken some heat for my comment about being out of shape. I have been very blessed to be able to loose the baby fat pretty fast, but if I had to run up and down a basketball court, I couldn't do it to save my life. So that's what I meant by being out of shape. I'm going to try to get to the point where I'm not out of breath after running up the stairs. Anyway, I love my haircut.

New Year Resolutions

It's about time I figured out what I want to do for myself and my family this upcoming year. Here is a list of some of my goals for 2008...

  • Due to the fact that I am in the worst shape ever, I want to be able to do 20 consecutive push-ups on the Perfect Pushup. It's harder then it looks, trust me.

  • I want to get ready for the day before my kids wake up, (this will probably never happen)

  • I want to keep my yard weed free, or at least stay on top of weeding

  • Read the scriptures daily

  • Have the coolest FHE lessons ever, I personally want to thank sugardoodle.net for helping me out with this task

  • Go to the temple more often

  • Have more or the equal amount of energy that my children always have

  • Become the grill master

  • Finish scanning in all of our photos from 2002-2005, so far 2000 & 2001 are done

Now for fun, I watched Jay Leno the other night and here are some new year resolutions from children.
